Just days after her new romance with Tom Hiddleston has been outed, it has been revealed Taylor Swift dumped her ex Calvin Harris “over the phone”.
In an ironic turn of a events, a new report claims the We Are Never Getting Back Together singer called up her DJ beau and told him it was over during a phone call.
According to TMZ, Taylor called Calvin some time after his car crash last month, to tell him it was over.
She was reportedly “vague during the call, only saying she needed some space”.
Sources claim that Calvin was “thunderstruck” and thought Taylor “was in it for the long haul and wanted to help him recover”.
Taylor famously revealed that one of her first loves, Joe Jonas, had split with her over a phone call, which she claimed to be “only 27 seconds” long.
“It’s all right – I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful.
“When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18,” she revealed back in 2008.

The news comes after claims that Taylor’s romantic beach day with her new man Tom Hiddleston was all a “set up”.
The pair were photographed by her Rhode Island beach home, kissing and taking selfies.
The couple were later spotted on a runway boarding Taylor’s private plan.
Since the pictures emerged Calvin has unfollowed Taylor on Twitter (the true sign of a dead romance) and deleted all her photos off his Instagram page (strike two).
