Stars turn on the style for the Julian Benson CF Foundation Winter Wonderland Ball

Stars braved the cold last night to step out in style at the Julian Benson Winter Wonderland Ball at The Clayton Hotel in Ballsbridge. 

Famous attendees included Kian Egan, Erin McGregor, Jake Carter and Karen Byrne.

Also in attendance were Johnny Ward, Maia Dunphy, Claudine Keane, Blathnaid Treacy and Roz Lipsett.

The ball was in aid of the Julian Benson CF Foundation.

The initiative was launched just over a year ago, and just over a year ago, and since its inception, Julian has worked tirelessly to provide the two goals of the foundation.

At tonight’s ball, Julian was delighted to announce the delivery of one of these goals – The Tranquility House.

Julian said: “I am absolutely thrilled and delighted to be able  to provide this facility for families which will make a huge difference to families with CF throughout Ireland.”

“The facility has been kindly provided by a benefactor and I would like to thank them for their kind generosity and support and also thank all the Irish people who have helped us on our journey so far and who continue to help us on an ongoing basis.”

“Without their support none of this would be possible.”

Opening in spring 2020, this facility will be a game changer for families with CF, offering them comfort and support during long hospital stays.

The 10–bed en suite facility opening in Dublin’s Ballsbridge, a short distance from St. Vincent’s hospital.

400 guests on the night were treated to the hosting skills of 2fm DJ Eoghan McDermott.

They also watched as Ireland’s greatest magician Keith Barry took to the stage to wow them with his magical mastery.

There was also a special performance from RTE’s Dancing With The Stars partners Johnny Ward and Emily Barker.
