Stars defend Kim Kardashian against trolls ‘joking’ about Paris incident

Stars have defended Kim Kardashian, following viscous trolls taking aim at the reality star after being held at gunpoint in Paris.

On Sunday evening, the Armenian’s beauty’s trip to Paris Fashion Week took a terrifying turn as she was held at gunpoint inside her hotel room.

“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers,” Kim’s spokesperson told E! News. “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”

It has since been reported that the mother-of-two was robbed of ‘millions of dollars worth’ of jewellery, by an alleged five armed men. A source told Reuters that the attack happened around 3 am. A police source said the robbery happened at a luxury residence, not a hotel – as reported earlier.

Since news broke, Twitter users have expressed their shock – however, some chose to joke about Kim’s terrifying ordeal.

Fans, including Kim’s celeb pals, have since taken to Twitter to shut down trolls – with James Corden urging people “to remember that she’s a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend” and to “Be nice or shut up”.

Shortly before news of the incident broke, Kim’s husband Kanye West abruptly ended his concert at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in Queens, New York.

In the middle of performing one of his hit songs, Heartless, the father-of-two was told of a “family emergency” and quickly left the stage.

Kim’s mother Kris Jenner, and her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner are also currently in Paris

When contacted by E! News, Kris said Kim “will be OK.”
