Specially invited guests stepped out at the Odeon Cinema in Point Square Dublin this week for a special preview screening of The Darkest Minds.

The film is based on the book by Alexandra Bracken, and stars Amandla Stenberg, Mandy Moore and Gwendoline Christie.

The film tells the story of a group of teens who mysteriously develop powerful new abilities, they are declared a threat by the government and detained.

Sixteen-year-old Ruby, one of the most powerful young people anyone has encountered, escapes her camp and joins a group of runaway teens seeking safe haven.
