Viewers were left teary-eyed after Louis Tomlinson dedicated his debut solo performance to his mother who died this week.
The One Direction star decided to go ahead with his scheduled performance on the X Factor final, with friends close to the star saying it was his mother’s “dying wish” to perform.
It’s clear that Louis’ debut track Just Hold On is about his mother going through cancer – a poignant tribute just days after she died.
Taking to Twitter viewers shared their support for the singer, with #ProudOfLouis trending straight away, as well as fans sharing their own heart break in watching the performance.
