Margot Robbie is the bookmakers’ favourite to become the next Bond girl.
Online polls place the powerhouse actress’ odds of landing the role at 12/1 – beating out Emily Blunt at 16/1, Gone Girl actress Emily Ratajkowski at 22/1, and Emma Watson at 40/1, the DailyMail has reported.
But would Margot take a sidekick role? “I want to keep looking for roles where the main interest will be in the character and her importance in driving a story forward, rather than her relationship with a male character,” Margot previously told Women’s Day.

The Aussie actress exploded onto the Hollywood scene in 2013 with the Wolf of Wall Street, playing opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. Her slinky, saucy character Naomi made Margot one of the most sought after actresses today.
She most recently played Jane in Tarzan, and Harley Quinn in the highly anticipated super villain flick Suicide Squad.
As for James Bond, Idris Elba recently ruled himself out of the race, after he was rumoured to be in the running for the role.
