Little Mix star Jesy Nelson’s father has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run crash.
John Nelson (51) from Essex, was reportedly involved in a collision with a motorcycle on Friday night, which caused motorcyclist Craig Voyce (23) to die in hospital three hours later.
Jesy’s estranged father, who was arrested near the scene, denies being behind the wheel at the time and claims two other men wer in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
“I was not the driver of this vehicle. The police know I was not the driver,” he told The Sun.

Jesy, 25, who shot to fame with Little Mix after winning The X Factor in 2011, learned of the tragedy on Sunday.
Her mum Janis is a police community support officer in Essex, and broke up with her dad years ago – so Jesy did not contact him.
John Nelson has been released on bail and the investigation continues.
