Lindsay Lohan: ‘I’ve been trying hard to do a Mean Girls 2’

The actress starred in the original film written and co-starring Tina Fey

Lindsay Lohan has admitted that she has been hard at work trying to make Mean Girls 2 happen.

The actress starred in the cult film alongside Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, who was also the writer of the film.

“I have been trying so hard to do a Mean Girls 2,” she said.

Lindsay admitted that even though it’s not in her hands whether the film will happen or not, she has been pushing Tina and producer Lorne Michaels to become involved.

“It is not in my hands. I know that Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels and all of Paramount are very busy,” she told CNN.

“But I will keep forcing it and pushing it on them until we do it. I would love to do it.

“I’d love to have Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon in the movie.”

To show her drive for Mean Girls 2 to happen, the American has written a treatment for the film.

“I have already written a treatment for it and I just need a response.

“I know Mark Waters, who is the director – he’d happily come back,” she added.
