Kim Kardashian hinted at the real reason she ultimately split from Kanye West in the latest episode of The Kardashians.
Almost three years after the pair’s divorce was finalised, the reality star reflected on the difficulty of their break up while speaking with her younger sister Khloe Kardashian, who in the same episode re-connected with her turbulent ex-husband Lamar Odom.
Kim told Khloe that she relates to how she felt following her split from Lamar and said, “That’s the hardest part, I’ve been there, when you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality.”
“…They’re not the same person and you can’t ever get that person back—but you can’t live with the new person. I get it,” continued the SKIMS founder.
Kim then went on to share in the confessional that “it’s tougher when you don’t want your marriage to end off of your personal reasons, but circumstances change that force your marriage to end.”
“I’ve been there, Khloe’s been there, and so when you weren’t planning on that and that’s not really the outcome you want—but there’s no other option, I think it makes it harder to get over.”

Kim and Kanye share four kids together – North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.
The pair started dating in 2012, before tying the knot in Florence, Italy, in May 2014.
Kim filed for divorce in February 2021, but it wasn’t finalised until the end of 2022.
