Kim Kardashian graduates law school after six year journey: ‘Finally!’

Kim Kardashian has graduated her law school program after a six year journey.

The 44-year-old reality TV actress proudly posted the video to her Instagram, where she was the only student, and celebrated the accomplishment with a backyard ceremony.

As her mentors gave speeches congratulating her as her family and children looked on, the mother of four was seen seated close to a podium wearing a grey blouse, a black miniskirt, and a beige graduation cap.

The 44-year-old graduated from her four-year Law Office Study Program after six years, after she was delayed due to COVID and work.

As her closest friends and family came to commemorate the significant occasion in her legal path, Kim gave fans a peek of what seemed to be a backyard graduation ceremony.

She commented: “I finally graduated law school after six years!!!” over a video of herself wearing a graduation cap while receiving congratulations from speakers for her accomplishments.

“It’s an absolute honor to stand here today, not just as mentors, but as witnesses to one of the most inspiring legal journeys we’ve ever seen,” Jessica Jackson, one of the attorneys sponsoring Kim’s education said on stage.

“Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice. No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination and a mountain of case log books to read.”

“Over the course of this program, Kim has dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years,” Jessica continued.

“That’s a total of 5,184 hours of legal study, that’s time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others.”

Rather than attending law school, Kim followed a path offered by California and three other U.S states, to qualify for the bar by apprenticing with a practicing lawyer or judge.

In 2018, the reality star began working as an apprentice in 2018 at a San Francisco legal firm.

She then took the First-Year Law Student’s Examination, or “baby bar,” in 2021 and talked candidly about the challenging experience after passing on her fourth attempt.
