Kian Egan backs Kelly Mongan to have career after The Voice

Broke Kelly Mongan has been told by her Voice of Ireland mentor Kian Egan that she can still make it in the music industry.

The Traveller recently admitted that she can’t afford to buy equipment to gig – and hasn’t been offered a record deal since the RTE show.

But Kian, who mentored her on the Voice of Ireland, said: “She has a real talent and is an amazing singer.”

He added: “I am disappointed things haven’t moved quicker for Kelly… She could have a career with the right songs and the right person guiding her.”

And Kian – who won I’m A Celebrity – told the Irish Sun he will continue to support her as she “is the people’s champion.”
