Justin Timberlake hit named the WORST song of 2016

The musician's hit song wasn't the only popular tune on the list

Justin Timberlake’s hit song Can’t Stop The Feeling has been named the worst song of 2016.

The song was created purely for the singer’s new film, Trolls, and execs at the record label loved it so much they decided to release it five months before the movie landed in cinemas – but it seems people have had enough of it.

TIME magazine have released their list of the top 10 worst songs of the year, and the American’s tune claimed the number one spot.

Double trouble: Meghan’s songs No and Mom made it onto the list | YOUTUBE

Other previously popular songs on the list include Mike Posner’s I Took A Pill In Ibiza which made number six on the list and just behind that was Gnash’s I Hate U I Love U at number 7.

Lukas Graham’s 7 Years got off lightly and was named the tenth worst song of 2016 with Meghan Trainor’s No taking the eight spot.

Unfortunately for Meghan, she made the list twice – it was her lesser known song Mom that place just behind Justin’s summer tune as she also claimed the second spot.
