RTE star Grainne Seoige looks to be trying to get a job with new TV station UTV Ireland.
The Crimecall presenter went for pints with the boss of the new station, Michael Wilson, after an early-morning invitation.
The 40-year-old was tweeted at 6.53am and replied two minutes later saying she was up for drinks. He replied: “You’re up early! Will sort venue and let you know.”
Now it is speculated the TV boss could be hopeful in bringing Grainne across to UTV Ireland when they launch next year, as her contract is soon up for renewal.

He previously poached the presenter from TV3 to front Sky News Ireland’s short-lived bulletins in 2004.
Now speculation is growing that he could be about to offer Grainne another job — just as her contract with RTE is up for renewal later this year.
Recently Grainne insisted she won’t be emigrating to South Africa after getting engaged to Leon Jordaan.
It comes as it emerged that UTV will be trying to take on the Late Late Show with a Friday night sports programme.
UTV Ireland have said no decision on presenters will be made until later this year.
