He’s back! Ed Sheeran calls off career hiatus for charity gig

Ed Sheeran is returning to the stage after a year long career break.

The superstar will hit the stage to perform at a fundraiser for the East Anglia Children’s Hospice (EACH) group.

It will take place at London’s Natural History Museum on November 30.

This will be Ed’s first official performance since he announced in December of 2015 that he was taking a break from showbiz and social media.

In an Instagram post last December, Ed wrote “I’m taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while.”

“I’ve had such an amazing ride over the last five years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes.

“I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed.”

In a new statement regarding his return, the 25-year-old wrote, “As an ambassador of EACH, I am enormously proud and excited to be joining them for their gala dinner event at the Natural History Museum on November 30.”
