George Michael’s €117 million fortune ‘will go to his Godchildren’

George Michael’s Godchildren will reportedly inherit his €117m fortune.

The Wham! singer died of suspected heart failure last week, and was found dead in his bed on Christmas Day at his home in the UK.

While the 53-year-old left no heirs behind, he was Godparent to several of his celebrity friends, including Roman and Harley Moon Kemp, the children of Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp and his Wham! bandmate Shirlie Holliman.

According to the Mirror, the late singer will also leave some of his fortune to Spice Girl Geri Horner’s daughter Bluebell, whose Godfather is Michael’s ex-boyfriend Kenny Goss.

The star is said to have owned at least four properties around the world, including two in the UK, one in New York and one in Sydney, Australia.

Michael’s two older sisters, Melanie and Yiodo, his partner Fadi Fawaz and his cousin Andros’ two children are also reportedly named on his will.

Thanks to his impressive fortune, Michael was incredibly charitable and generous, it has been revealed.

The singer made a number of donations to Childline over the years and supported organisations such as the Terrence Higgins Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Yesterday, Deal or No Deal host Richard Osman revealed one of George’s many acts of kindness.

“A woman on ‘Deal Or No Deal’ told us she needed £15k for IVF treatment. George Michael secretly phoned the next day and gave her the £15k,” he wrote.
