The face of Maybelline’s new campaign is a man – and people are absolutely loving him.
Maybelline announced its new ad campaign for its Big Shot Mascara by Colossal and this marks Maybelline’s first-ever partnership with a man as the star of a campaign.
This is also the beauty giant’s first time teaming up with a beauty influencer.
Manny Gutierrez, or @MannyMUA733, is a beauty vlogger and social media influencer with almost 3 million followers.
Manny is joined by fellow beauty influencer Shayla Mitchell in the glitzy new advert for Big Shot mascara.
Back in October CoverGirl named James Charles its first CoverGuy.
Featuring men in campaigns has become more common in the make-up industry with brands like Milk Makeup and Anastasia Beverly Hills featuring men in advertising and on social media for a more universal and inclusive approach to beauty.
Manny’s Instagram bio shows his feelings towards men in the cosmetics industry, “I think boys deserve just as much cosmetic recognition.”
