Brad Pitt is in “bad shape” –Â two weeks after his wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.
News of the a-list couple’s split broke last month, after an incident on a private – where Brad reportedly ‘got physical’ with his son 15-year-old son Maddox during a drunken tirade.
Now, Brad is said to be “totally crushed”, and is leaning on his family as Angelina has obtained temporary custody of their six children, following a temporary custody agreement.
“He can’t believe this is what his life has become, and he’s in bad shape, but the kids are the only thing he’s hanging onto,” a source told Us Weekly.

“He’s been leaning heavily on his family and speaks to his parents and close friends and his manager constantly. His mum has been talking to him constantly.”
Brad and Angelina wed back in 2014 after 12 years together. The pair are parents to six children –Â Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight.
52-year-old Brad is said to be furious that he’s been accused of child abuse, which has resulted in investigations by the police, the FBI and the Department Of Children And Family Services.

A source has said that Brad and Angie will receive counselling, both separately and with their family – and Brad has agreed to regular drug and alcohol testing.
“He will co-operate in whatever way he can. He loves those kids more than anything,” a source said.
The news comes after Angelina added two more “powerhouse lawyers”, Pierce O’Donnell and Bert Fields, to her legal team -which is led by Laura Wasser, who is known as one of Hollywood’s heavyweight divorce lawyers.
