The musician reveals her struggle

Azealia Banks has opened up about a devastating miscarriage she suffered recently.

In a now deleted Facebook post, the American reached out to her fans after she discovered she had lost her child.

“So I’ve just had a really major life event happen and I want to talk about it because this wouldn’t be an Azealia Banks page without loads of oversharing right?” she said.

“Anywho, I’ve just had a miscarriage and am pretty taken aback by it all and really confused and in shock and guilty and a bit depressed and like a failure and very ashamed,” she said according to the Daily Mail.

The musician asked her fans,”Has anyone else had this same experience who cares to share some words of wisdom or words of anything regarding this topic.

“The self-loathing bit is a real struggle for me at the moment so share any words here, They will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.”

Despite deleting the post, she again took to Facebook in multiple posts about her miscarriage and revealed that she went to the ER.

She wrote another post in which she defends her reason why she deleted the original Facebook essay.

“Just to make sure we’re clear: deleting posts is not a sign of cowardice,” she said.

“It’s a sign of the disposability of the people I go in on. I would never ever in my life give anyone I thought was less than me so much an effort that I include them in my production or work.

“I would never include some I dislike in my video game or music. Because those things are eternal.

“Social media beef and ranting is better than putting it in the music. Music is way too magical to waste it on saccharine media cycles – that’s what social media is for. For tweet and delete.

“I will work the world through my words. And charm myself with the music.

“Music’s intelligence is too pure to taint it with humanity’s issues. But that’s just me.”
