Zayn Malik revealed that he wasn’t friends with anyone in One Direction.
The singer left the boyband in 2015 and the group continued with Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles until they broke up one year later.
The 25-year-old has now revealed that he wasn’t friends with any of his bandmates and that there were “snide” remarks made about him after he left the band.
“I ain’t spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you. That’s just the way it is,” he told British Vogue.
“There’s things that happen and things that were said after I left. Snide things. Small things that I would never have expected.”
Zayn went on to say that “the relationships had broken apart” by the time he left the band, as the pressure affected everyone in different ways.
“That’s just the way it is. People move on, people grow apart, people grow up,” he continued.
The singer’s comments come after Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson both recently showed interest in getting the boyband back together.
