Zara McDermott has revealed she’s still “suffering really badly” after a secret Covid-19 battle.
The reality star, who rose to fame on Love Island back in 2018, took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to detail her lingering symptoms.
The 24-year-old said: “I had covid weeks ago! But I’m suffering really badly from nausea pretty much all day every day. Then when I eat I instantly want to vomit. I’m struggling to keep down any foods.”
“I went for dinner earlier and felt instantly sick afterwards, but I tried to hold it in. But the feeling just gets more intense until I throw up.”
“Has anyone else suffered from this? Why is this happening to me,” she asked her followers. “If you suffered please let me know what helped you. I have thrown up pretty much every day for weeks and it’s getting ridiculous now!”
Zara added: “No I’m defo not pregnant before anyone asks lol.”
Later, the ex Made In Chelsea star wrote: “Thank you so much for everyone who has helped and sent me a message.”
“A lot of people seem to have experienced this – some even for months and months after. Which is scary and I really hope it doesn’t affect me in this way. People who suffered have said their GP prescribed anti sickness and it helped, as well as eating little and often rather than full meals.”
“A lot of people saying they felt this way as a result of the vaccine – I actually haven’t had mine yet either because you have to wait for at least a month after having covid to have it I think. So I had to cancel it.”
“But I’m going to get it ASAP!” she insisted.
