Zara McDermott broke down in tears on Monday’s episode of Made In Chelsea, after she failed to win back Sam Thompson by sending him a heartfelt letter.
The couple dramatically split back in August, after Sam found out Zara had cheated on him during the early stages of their relationship.
During the latest episode of MIC, Zara apologised to Sam in a lengthy handwritten letter, passed on by his best friend Reza Amiri-Garroussi.
Zara’s letter read: “Dear Sam, Since you have been away I have been doing a lot of reflecting on a lot of things. I’ve reflected on my life before I met you, on our life together and a lot on the kind of life I want to live.”
“Before I continue with some of the things I need to say, I just want to tell you again I am so sorry with my whole entire heart for what I did.”
“I am so deeply ashamed of my actions and the way I have hurt you. I was selfish, immature and stupid. There is no excuse,” she continued.
“I know how hard it is to believe that someone who loves you could do what I did. But believe me when I say. I love you, you have my whole heart and more.”
After reading the letter, Sam admitted he felt torn between his head and his heart.

But during a later scene, Reza told Zara that Sam is “completely out” of the relationship, hinting he has no plans to rekindle their romance.
Zara broke down in tears over Reza’s confession, and said: “Why can’t he tell me this? Why can’t he just speak to me?”
Reza replied: “Because seeing you upset upsets him, and I think it draws him in emotionally and that’s a vicinity that he doesn’t want to be in right now…”
Reza’s girlfriend Ruby then added: “It’s horrible to see anyone you love so upset, but we have to honest with you in this conversation as uncomfortable as it is. It wouldn’t be fair, otherwise, to say it’s gonna be fine if in Sam’s mind it’s clearly…”
Zara added: “Yeah, it’s just hard…”
The news comes after Zara posted another gushing post about Sam on Instagram over the weekend, in another desperate bid to win him back.
