X Factor‘s Scarlett Lee revealed Simon Cowell’s heartwarming gesture following a terrifying fire in her brother’s home.
The 21-year-old had a tough week, as she was rushed to hospital following the fire and her brother’s home was destroyed in the incident.
Scarlett did, however, still perform on The X Factor on Saturday, and thanked Simon for his support throughout the week while on-stage.
The singer has since taken to Facebook to share the judge’s kind gesture, as he sent the contestant three huge hampers for her family last night.
“Where do I even begin? For every person who ask’s what’s Its like to work with (S)imon what’s it like to know him … well Simon not only my mentor but the kindest person I will ever meet, he has a heart of pure gold!” Scarlett told fans.
“Tonight we had a surprise delivery for my brother his wife and children full of presents toys for them all, He Has made my family so happy and that means the world to me…”
“You are genuinely the nicest person I’ve ever met and you never forget who was there for you when you’re down and you have stood by us through it all … thank you so so much,” she finished.
It’s clear that the singer and her mentor are close, as she previously thanked him on social media for checking up on her following the fire.
