Wes Nelson and his Dancing on Ice partner, Vanessa Bauer reportedly had a “secret fling.”
The 20-year-old split from fellow Love Island star, Megan Barton-Hanson in January following ongoing drama between her and the professional skater.
The 25-year-old hit out at Vanessa multiple times and claimed that the ice skater’s split from her boyfriend was “tactical”, as they broke up shortly before her first performance with Wes.
The reality star recently hit out at Vanessa once again and told New! Magazine that she didn’t think anything has or ever would happened between the skating partners.
Megan then threw a dig at the pair and said that if her ex and Vanessa were ever going to get together “it would just be to further their careers.”
The Sun has now alleged that there was a short fling between the DOI partners, but that Wes shut their romance down after realising that he would rather stay single.
“Wes and Vanessa were instantly attracted to each other, you only had to be in the same room as them for a minute to see sparks were flying,” a source alleged.
“But it wasn’t long before Wes decided he would rather stay single. He is the man of the moment and fast becoming a household name.”
“Girls are queuing up to knock on his door. The last thing he needs is a serious relationship. Vanessa has come to accept it.”
“This has been really awkward but they are both being professional and getting on with it. They know that the Dancing On Ice trophy is theirs to lose.”
The skating partners are set to compete in the final of Dancing on Ice tonight.
