Wayne Rooney is planning to take his wife Coleen on a make-or-break holiday, in a last ditch effort to save their marriage.
The Everton striker is trying to win his wife back, after he was caught up in a drink-driving scandal at the wheel of party girl Laura Simpson’s car.
A source told The Sun, “Wayne wants to take Coleen away to make things up to her and so they can work on their marriage.”
“They haven’t finalised the destination but Dubai has been mentioned.”
Last month, the 31-year-old was convicted of drink-driving, after attempting to drive Laura Simpson’s car home after a night out.
Coleen, who is expecting their fourth child, was away in Majorca with their three boys, Kai, Klay and Kit, at the time.
Yesterday, Coleen tweeted a picture of herself and the kids in Blackpool, which showed that she’s still not wearing her wedding ring.
