Wayne Rooney has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
According to The Mirror, he was stopped by police in Cheshire on Thursday night, after an evening out.
This isn’t the first time the footballer has been in a drink-related incident.
Last November he was seen “stumbling around” and could “hardly speak” after crashing a wedding following England’s win over Scotland in a World Cup qualifier.
This arrest comes just weeks after it was revealed that the striker is expecting his fourth child with wife Coleen.
Confirming the news on social media Coleen said she had never exactly denied pregnancy rumours, she was just waiting to announce it to the world.
“So Happy!!! ….. Never denied the news, but I was always protecting it!! Had scan & all checks are fine…..Baby number 4 is on its way,” she wrote.
