Yazmin Oukhellou has revealed she quit Ex On The Beach over fears she would get back with her ex James Lock.
The TOWIE stars broke up earlier this year, and were set to reunite for the popular MTV reality show.
Speaking to new! magazine about her decision to pull out of the show, Yazmin said: “I just had real bad anxiety about it… I just didn’t feel like it was healthy for me to be in a house with my ex-boyfriend who did break me as a person.”
“I do this thing where I always go back to my ex,” she explained. “I need to start thinking about why these relationships haven’t worked and not go back.”
“Being in a house like that, it’s so intense we would have been each other’s comforts and ended up… [doing the deed.] Not for the right reasons but because it was just comfortable.”
Opening up about why she and James didn’t work out, Yazmin said: “I wasn’t happy for a little while. At the point I was in my life, I was really ready to settle, whereas he was being the party boy.”
“He liked to have me there but he also liked to live this single life and I’d had enough.”
Confirming their split in February, James told OK! magazine: “We’ve broken up. We tried to make it work and we really thought it was going to be different this time but things don’t always work out as you’d expect.”
“I have a lot of love for Yaz and a huge amount of respect for her but we’re just better apart.”
James has since been linked to Love Island star Megan Barton Hanson – who he was spotted kissing earlier this month.
