Tom Daley and husband Dustin Lance Black share first photos of their newborn son

The couple welcomed their first child on Wednesday

Tom Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black have shared the first photos of their newborn son Robert Ray.

The couple welcomed their first child via surrogate on Wednesday, and named their baby boy after Tom’s late father Robert, who died of a brain tumour in May 2011.

Taking to Instagram to share the first snaps of their son, the 24-year-old Olympic diver posted the sweetest black-and-white photo of Robert’s tiny feet.

He captioned the snap, “Welcome to the world our precious little Robbie Ray Black-Daley. The most magical moment of my life.”

Meanwhile, Dustin, 44, shared a photo of their newborn’s head being cradled by both Dustin and Tom.

He wrote, “Welcome to the world little Robbie Ray. Thank you for bringing so much love and light with you.

“And thank you to those who helped make our dream of having a family into this wonderful reality. #AFamily #HappyBirthday.”

The couple, who wed in May last year, are expected to raise their child in the UK.
