THIS is how much Ariana Grande is reportedly being paid to headline Manchester Pride

The singer has faced a lot of backlash since she was announced as a headliner

Ariana Grande is reportedly being paid almost €300k to headline Manchester Pride this year.

Earlier this week, the pop singer was confirmed as this year’s headline act – but the 25-year-old faced a lot of backlash, as festival-goers complained about the rise in ticket prices.

The Sun have since reported that Ariana “is expected to bank €280,000” for performing at the LGBTQ+ festival – which is a cool €110,000 more than Kyle Minogue was offered last year.

A music insider said: “Ariana is expected to bank €280,000. Kylie, on the other hand, was offered around €170,000 when she was given the chance last year.”

Kylie pulled out of last year’s Manchester Pride over security concerns, but is set to headline Brighton Pride this year on August 3.

The news comes after Ariana was forced to release a statement, after she was accused of “exploiting” the gay community due to the rise in ticket prices for Pride.

The singer will return the city for the first time since 2017’s One Love Manchester concert in August, which she organised to raise money for the victims of the terror attack that took place after her Manchester Arena gig on May 22.
