Susan Boyle targeted and attacked by gang of teenagers near her home

Susan Boyle has been targeted and attacked by a gang of teenagers, it has been revealed.

The 56-year-old has been insulted and intimidated by a gang of up to 15 youths in her hometown of Blackburn.

According to the Sunday Mirror, a spokesman for the singer, who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome, has said that they are planning to call in police to ensure Susan’s safety.

A witness to some of the attacks said, “We were inside the bus and they were throwing stones, screaming and shouting things.”

“Another time 10-15 of them were surrounding and throwing stuff. They lit a piece of paper and threw it at her face.

“Then I was going inside the Mill Centre, Susan was walking out and they were all standing at the entrance and they said to her ‘why don’t you get yourself a pair of glasses you ugly, old b****. It’s horrendous.”

The singer, who shot to fame for her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, currently lives in the three-bedroom council home she grew up in.

Susan bought the property after BGT, and also owns another five-bedroom property at the other end of the town, which her niece lives in.

According to the Mirror, Susan’s neighbours, who have also been abused, have tried to look out for her.
