Stacey Solomon has opened up about the trolling she received online, after she shared a photo of herself using a breast pump.

The 30-year-old shared her story on Loose Women today – after the panel discussed the rise of celebrities, such as Rachel McAdams and Pink, showing themselves pumping on social media.

Speaking on the show, Stacey slammed those who accused her of posting the snap for attention.

“I wasn’t attention-seeking…. you don’t put the photos up to be sexy and ‘look at me!'”

“When you’re in the thick of it (breastfeeding), I don’t think it’s easy for a lot of women and you get so emotional, so emotive.”

“There’s been times I’ve pumped for two hours and only got 10ml of milk.”

“When you feel like you’re failing to feed, being open is that gets you through,” she added.

This isn’t the first time the former X Factor contestant has been faced with online criticism.

Knowing that my boys don’t bat an eyelid that I’m sat playing with them whilst milking myself, or that I have to whack my boob out every hour makes me extremely proud. Trying to get a bit of one on one time with my big baby today in between feeds. Feel like I’ve neglected the boys over the last few weeks trying to get into a feeding pattern. I haven’t managed to get into one yet (IS THAT NORMAL??). I’ve now got to the point where I can’t expect them to entertain themselves any longer. The fact that they’ve been so amazing and understanding has made it a lot easier for me but also meant the guilt has set in a little stronger because they’re just so bloomin good. I really do need to get out of the house at some point in the near future too before I go stir crazy but honestly, the thought of having to wear actual clothes and interact with other humans is really daunting ???? When did anyone else leave the house after birth? Is 3 weeks too long? Send help… ????????

Earlier this month, Stacey admitted she feels “sorry” for online trolls, after she was forced to take a break from Instagram.

On the latest episode of Goss Chats, Ali Ryan chats to Ronan Keating about his star-studded upcoming music special, and working with Robbie Williams on a special new song dedicated to Stephen Gately.

#GossChats is sponsored by top aesthetic clinic Haus of JeJuve, which is now back open for bookings.
