Stacey Solomon said that she doesn’t plan on taking maternity leaving, after announcing her pregnancy.
Last month the singer and her partner, Joe Swash announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The presenter has now revealed that she doesn’t plan on taking maternity leave, as she appeared on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show this morning and spoke about her plans.
“I’m self-employed so if I don’t work, I don’t get paid,” she said.
“In this industry you can only earn while you’re earning and it might be a situation that I have work now but in six months time I might not. I will carry on working,” she continued.
Stacey already has two sons from previous relationships, while Joe also has an 11-year-old son.
