Stacey Solomon defends Gemma Atkinson after she was mum-shamed by trolls

Stacey Soloman has defended Gemma Atkinson after she was mum-shamed by trolls.

Mother-of-one Gemma took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to share a cruel comment she had received after sharing a video of her exercising while her one-year-old daughter Mia watched.

The troll claimed that Gemma’s daughter was “the last thing” she thought about, and told her to “take a leaf out of Stacey Soloman’s book”.

Gemma wrote: “This is the type of stuff I get on a daily basis about how I choose to be with my baby girl.”

“In my home gym playing with her while I exercise. It’s absolutely pathetic that other women feel the need to say this stuff. Shame on you all.”

Resharing Gemma’s post, Stacey took to her own Instagram story to respond to the troll’s comment.

“Marie, Marie, Marie where do I start,” she addressed the troll, “It might shock you to know that sometimes just sometimes I might put myself first.

“Some days I chose Peaky Blinders over Pepper Pig. Crisps over carrots, and sometimes I just lock myself in the toilet and pretend I am doing the longest poo in the world to get some me time.”

“Gemma you are smashing it. Keep being the amazing mum to the woman you are raising,” the mother-of-three wrote.

“Hold your head high and take no notice of anyone who tries to drag you down.

“Women supporting women and mothers supporting mothers is so important.”
