The Spice Girls are facing more complaints about sound issues, after performing in Cardiff on Monday night.

After fans complained about issues during their concert in Dublin’s Croke Park, it looks like the band faced the same problems last night.

Alison Powell, who paid £70 for a ticket to their Cardiff show, said she left 45 minutes early because she couldn’t hear them.

Speaking on BBC Radio Wales, she said: “It was really, really disappointing. You couldn’t hear anything they were singing. The band drowned them out.”

“You couldn’t hear the harmonies, you couldn’t hear the words. When they started talking to each other and there was a bit of banter on stage, you just couldn’t hear it.

“It left us totally flat, so flat that we actually left early – about three-quarters-of-an-hour before the end. We weren’t the only ones leaving. People were saying they were also really disappointed.”

After opening their tour in Dublin on Friday, Mel B responded to sound complaints in an Instagram video.

She said: “Hey guys, thanks you for attending our show tonight in Dublin we will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much better.”

The Spice Girls’ tour continues at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on Wednesday.
