Sherif Lanre has opened up about the aftermath of getting booted off Love Island earlier this summer.
The reality star entered the show with the original cast mates, but was removed from the show after an incident with co-star Molly-Mae.
Sherif accidentally kicked Molly-Mae in the crotch during a play fight, and called the blow a “c*nt punt,” leading to his removal.
“We’ve been in touch I wouldn’t say I speak to her on the regular,” he said of Molly-Mae.
“We’ve spoken about the issue and we’re cool,” he told The Mirror. “I did say sorry.”
However, Sherif still maintains that his dismissal from the reality show wasn’t “fair” in his eyes.
“There’s no hard feelings toward the producers, they gave me the opportunity.”
“In all honesty it wasn’t exactly fair.”
“But I don’t hold grudges and life moved forward.”
Sherif lasted only two weeks on the show, where he was coupled up with Anna Vakili.
