Ricky Gervais left the stage for 10-minutes during his stand-up show at Bristol’s Colston Hall on Wednesday.
The comedian later took to Twitter saying that he thought he “was having a heart attack”.
The writer posted a photo of his merchandise and wrote, “Thanks to the amazing audience in Bristol tonight. They even laughed when I thought I was having a heart attack. #Humanity.”
The next morning he posted a selfie on his Twitter account, and wrote, “I don’t think I died, but I’m not a doctor.”

Responding to a number of fans, the Brit said that he was ‘absolutely fine’, and added that it ‘certainly wasn’t part of the show.’
The stand-up tour, Humanity, is The Office star’s first stage show since 2009’s Science.
The Humanity tour will visit Dublin’s 3Arena on the 24th of June 2017.
