Pop singer Molly Rainford has been confirmed as the latest celebrity to join the Strictly Come Dancing 2022 lineup.
The singer said: “I’m so excited to be part of Strictly Come Dancing!”
“I’ve watched it for years and can’t wait to meet the pros and the others taking part! I can’t wait to learn the moves and get dancing!”

Announcing the news via their social media accounts, Strictly wrote: “Say hello to Molly Rainford, she’s an intergalactic pop superstar from @CBBC and she’s here to star on #Strictly!”
Molly appeared in the sixth series of Britain’s Got Talent which saw Ashley and Pudsey crowned the winners, and finished in sixth place.
The singer will join Ted Lasso star Ellie Taylor, singer Matt Goss, Loose Women panelist Kaye Adams, radio and TV presenter Richie Anderson, soap stars Will Mellor and Kym Marsh, comedian Jayde Adams, Paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds, and radio host Tyler West on the upcoming season of Strictly.
The popular BBC series is set to return to our screens next month.
