Pete Wicks has gotten candid about his “failed” love life as he shared fears he “may die alone” because he “isn’t ready for a relationship.”
The 36-year-old, who is a contestant on this year’s 2024 Strictly series, said he hopes to get married and have kids, but he is not ready yet.
Pete confessed that before committing to a serious relationship, he needs to “fully understand himself.”
Speaking to The Times magazine, he said: “I’m nearly 36. I want to get married and have kids. I’ve been blessed with so many opportunities, but what’s the point if I can’t share them with anyone?”
“Right now, I’m not ready to wholeheartedly commit to a romantic relationship because I don’t fully understand myself yet.”
Last month, it was reported that Pete Wicks was dating Maura Higgins as photos were released of the pair kissing.
The two reality stars were spotted kissing at the Broadwick Soho Hotel.
In photos obtained by The Sun, the pair were seen looking cosy on a date as they leaned in close to one another.
An onlooker told the publication that the Towie star came to join the former Love Islander at the five-star hotel.
They revealed: “Maura had been sitting on the terrace with friends for an hour before Pete arrived.”
“After they’d sat there for a while Maura went in for a long kiss with Pete. It wasn’t the kind of kiss you’d give a friend, it was very passionate.”
“Maura and Pete seemed to be really into each other and kept looking into each other’s eyes before kissing again a number of times.”
They continued: “When it got dark they moved into the hotel’s Flute bar and Pete sat with his arm around Maura all evening.”
“They were all over each other. They looked totally in love and weren’t trying to hide it from anyone.”
Pete and Maura were last spotted together in public at the TV Bafta Awards in May.
They were also spotted looking cosy at the Pride of Britain Awards last year; however, they insisted they were just close friends.
