Perrie Edwards has announced the name of her first child with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The couple welcomed a baby boy on August 21, who they’ve sweetly named Axel.
Taking to Instagram today, the Little Mix star shared the first proper photo of their newborn son, and confirmed his official moniker.

She captioned the post: “2 weeks of loving you. I’ve never felt love like this before! Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain 💙.”
The couple announced the birth of their first child after footballer Alex, who plays for Liverpool, pulled out of a match against Burnley on August 21 due to “personal reasons”.
Sharing a close-up snap of their newborn, Perrie wrote on Instagram: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21 ♥️.”

Perrie and Alex have been dating since 2016, and announced their pregnancy on May 10.
At the time, the songstress wrote on Instagram: “So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate.”
