Paul Gascoigne has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
Sky News stated that the former footballer was arrested at Durham railway station after an incident was reported to have happened on a CrossCountry service from York.
A woman alleged that he touched her inappropriately on the train.
He has been released while the investigation continues.
