Paloma Faith has joined the cast of the Batman television prequel, Pennyworth.
The singer is going to play a “spirited, sadistic and sharp-tongued villain” called Bet Sykes, according to Warner Horizon Scripted Television.
Although the 37-year-old is mostly known for her singing career, the mother-of-one has acted in productions such as Peter & Wendy and Doctor Parnassus in the past.
Pennyworth is set to have ten episodes and will take place in the 1960s as it follows the story of Alfred Pennyworth as he creates a security company and works for Thomas Wayne, the father of Batman.
