One Direction fans might be able to see one of their favourite faces on TV this year.
Louis Tomlinson has been tipped to return to The X Factor this year as a judge.
According to The Mirror, Louis will shake things up on the panel alongside Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field.
An insider for the show dished that Louis is a “close friend of the show” and a great friend of Simon Cowell’s, who helped to make him famous.
The insider added that the father-of-one “would make a brilliant judge.”
Simon looks after the singers solo career “which is going really well,” the insider continued.
The pair worked together on America’s Got Talent.
Last month Louis Walsh made a shock departure from the show after thirteen years.
“I’ve had a fantastic 13 years on The X Factor,” he said, “but the show needs a change and I’m ready to leave.”
Louis added, “I’m looking forward to another series of Ireland’s Got Talent, going back to my day job as a manager, writing my memoirs and seeing the world!”
