Singer Olly Murs has opened up about his Christmas plans after being “lonely” for four years.
The 35-year-old gushed to MailOnline that “this year is going to be great” after confirming his romance with 27-year-old bodybuilder Amelia Tank.
“I’m going to spend some time with her really, it’s been amazing. I haven’t had a girlfriend for four years at Christmas, it’s been a bit lonely. So this year is going to be great.”
Olly opened up about his love life saying he was looking for something special and found it with his new girlfriend.
“They always say when you’re always looking for something and then it comes along, this is what it’s supposed to feel like… we’re having our own Christmas together. It’s going to be nice.”
Olly joked that the pair are not yet living together because he can “barely look after” himself, but doesn’t rule it out completely because he loves spending time with her.
“We’re not living together yet, but whoah, I can barely look after myself! Who knows? I’m in a great place and I love being with her so we’ll see.”
According to a source, the pair met at an Essex gym in July.
“Amelia’s Instagram feed caught his eye and they started swapping flirty messages,” said the source.
“They met up at an Essex gym in July and the chemistry was instant. Olly thought Amelia was gorgeous, and she was very impressed by him, too.”
