Olivia Buckland has opened up about the issues couples who meet on Love Island can face.
The model is married to Alex Bowen, who she met on the show in 2016.
Considering her own time in the villa, Olivia told the Daily Star: “Alex and I just tried to stay chilled and be friends and not put too much pressure on it.”
“So I think that definitely helped us on the outside where there isn’t any pressure on us and we just get on and that’s as simple as it is.”
The Love Island alum also said that the pressure that exists on the show is different than when she was on it, and that it may contribute to the couples breaking up more often.
“Now I feel like because Love island is so big there might be an extra added pressure.”
“I also think it’s because simply some couples work and some couples don’t.”
Olivia also told the publication that Curtis and Amy are her favourite Love Island couple of the season.
