Olivia Attwood has revealed how her fiancé Bradley Dack reacted to her going on Love Island.
The couple got engaged last year after reconciling their romance, with Olivia appearing on the hit show back in 2017 after a brief split with the footballer.
The 29-year-old admitted that Bradley did not want to “commit” at the time, but upon discovering she was entering the villa, he had a change of heart.
“I told him: ‘I said this is what’s happening’, and he was just silent on the phone and I was like: ‘You didn’t wanna commit or whatever so this is what it is,'” she told PrettyLittleThing’s Behind Closed Doors podcast.
“Anyway I flew back from Germany and I literally had a few days to pack. My best friend was coming to my house and was helping me pack and I was getting picked up by a chaperone from the show at 5am in the morning.
“He turned up at my flat at midnight the night before I left. He’d had like a penny drop moment,” she revealed.
However, it was too little too late for Olivia, who decided to enter the show regardless, finding love at the time with Chris Hughes.
It was a happy ending in the end for Olivia and Bradley, who reconciled their romance in 2018, with Bradley popping the question during a trip to Dubai in October last year.
Sharing the news of her engagement at the time, Olivia wrote: “He must be crazy… Here’s to forever. I love you BD.”
Olivia and Bradley’s road to their big day is playing out on the couple’s new ITVBe reality show Olivia Meets Her Match.
