Olivia Attwood has been dropped as In The Style’s celebrity ambassador while Dani Dyer has taken on the new role.
Olivia placed third in the 2017 series and had been working with the brand since last year.
According to The Sun, the 27-year-old was dropped, as Dani signed a £500,000 deal with the fashion company.
“Dani is seriously hot property right now and everyone wants a piece of her. Last year’s Love Island stars are becoming old news while this year’s crop of stars are massively in demand,” a source told The Sun.
The source suggested that the 22-year-old was chosen to represent the brand due to her huge audience on social media.
“Dani has nearly double Olivia’s social media followers, with three million people following her Instagram account. That’s huge for a brand like In The Style and they have to move with the times.”
Olivia’s contract with In The Style reportedly ended in February, but the former islander still promoted the company online and maintained a good relationship with the brand’s CEO.
The new Love Island winner will now be taking her place as she becomes brand ambassador alongside Binky Felstead, Charlotte Crosby and Billie Faiers.
