Molly-Mae Hague weighs in on Amber Gill’s split from Greg O’Shea

Molly-Mae Hague has weighed in on Amber Gill’s split from Greg O’Shea.

Amber and Greg won the 2019 summer season of Love Island, with Molly and her beau Tommy Fury coming in second.

Speaking to Mail Online, the 20-year-old was asked if it was a slap in the face that Greg and Amber won, only to split five weeks later.

Molly replied: “It’s not a slap in the face because Tommy and I won in our own way.”

“We got back from the show all we wanted. And so it certainly doesn’t bother me.”

Speaking on her co-star’s split, she said: “I’m sad for them, it was horrible to hear. I am gutted for them, I know it will be a hard time.”

Speaking on her relationship with Tommy, the blonde beauty said: “It’s literally brilliant and perfect. It is just perfect!”

“We never bicker, we have moved in together in Manchester.”

As Greg and Amber split citing busy schedules, Mail Online asked Molly if this would be an issue for her and Tommy.

In response, she said: “It is never an issue for Tommy and I. Whether we have a busy month, or week, or year – we commit to our relationship. We FaceTime 24/7.”

Speaking on her own work schedule in the interview, Molly said “work is a priority”, making it hard to see her fellow islanders.

“I keep in touch with a lot of them, but I’ve barely had time to see my family. Work is a priority. It’s definitely hard to factor in time to see friends and family,” she explained.

Molly and Tommy recently enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas to support Tommy’s brother Tyson Fury during a boxing match.

Love Island is set to return to our screens in January 2020 for it’s first winter series.

The first rumoured contestant of the series has been revealed as Ellis Iyayi.
