Molly-Mae Hague reveals she stopped wearing bikinis – after paparazzi snapped ‘unflattering’ photos of her

The Love Island star recently slammed trolls for body shaming her

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that she stopped wearing bikinis on holiday, after paparazzi snapped ‘unflattering’ photos of her in Ibiza.

The Love Island star shared a holiday vlog on her YouTube channel on Wednesday, documenting her recent trip with Tommy Fury.

In the vlog, the 21-year-old explained how she was being followed by paparazzi, and revealed how it affected her confidence.

“Every single location we’ve went to, we’ve been papped which is not really ideal. They’ve been getting some REALLY flattering – not – pictures of me in my bikini,” she said.

“It’s just annoying because I’ve literally been working so hard the last two months to really get in good shape and lose a bit of weight that I gained after coming out of the show.”

Molly then said: “We need to try find somewhere today that I can sit in a bikini and sunbathe because I’ve been wearing swimming costumes the last few days because of the pictures, and now my stomach is completely white and the rest of me is tanned.”

The news comes after photos of Molly in a bikini were published by the Daily Mail last week, which attracted some nasty comments about her appearance.

After a fan shared a screenshot of the nasty comments on Twitter, Molly tweeted: “I would genuinely love to know who writes these comments? Like how can you actually write s**t like that and sleep at night? Beyond me.”

Earlier this week, Molly-Mae took to her Instagram Story to hit back at accusations that she “over edits” her images – by sharing the live version of a photo she took on a boat.

“I just had to say this. One last thing. For people saying I ‘over edit’ my pictures…here’s the live versions,” she wrote.

“You guys have absolutely no idea what these paparazzi cameras do to your body. They make you look triple your size.”

“I’ve even had paps add detail to my cellulite so that they can sell the pictures for more more,” Molly revealed.

“I don’t owe anyone an explanation and I never ever rise to comments but this has really frustrated me.”

“Lighting, angles, outfits and me knowing I’m having my photo taken may potentially be the reason as to why I look different. Rant over.”
