Molly-Mae Hague admits she was ‘so upset’ after her PLT collab was leaked by a paparazzi

The 20-year-old's surprise collaboration was ruined by a pesky pap

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed how upset she was after her collaboration with PrettyLittleThing was leaked by a paparazzi.

Shortly after leaving the Love Island villa, the 20-year-old signed a £500,000 deal to release her own collection with PLT – and flew to LA to shoot the campaign imagery.

The shoot was supposed to be top secret, but sadly it was spoiled after a pesky pap released sneaky photos of her shoot to the press in the UK.

In a new vlog posted on her YouTube channel, Molly brought fans behind-the-scenes of her LA shoot, and explained her disappointment when they found out a pap was tailing them the whole time.

Molly said: “The ending to yesterday was really, really horrible because basically we realised that we had been followed by a pap from the minute we left the hotel to every single location on the shoot.”

“The pap had taken pictures of every single outfit and has released them to the press.”

“So basically all of my outfits from yesterday are already out, and I realised it whilst on the shoot yesterday with five outfits still yet to shoot, and I just couldn’t shoot anymore because I was just too upset,” she continued.

“It’s just really horrible because obviously I’ve worked so hard on this collection and I wanted it to be released the way I wanted it to be released, on my terms. Do you know what I mean?”

“I just wanted it to be how I wanted it to be, and it’s out there now for the world to see and it’s not at all how I wanted it to look, because pap pictures, honestly, they’re so bad. Like, they can literally make you look so, so bad.”

“So, it’s just annoying and I can laugh about it today because what can you do, like if you don’t laugh you’ll cry,” she added.

During her new vlog, Molly-Mae also shed light on the reality of life after Love Island, and running on “no sleep”.

The night before her shoot, the 20-year-old started to feel really unwell after an exhausting few weeks.

She said: “Everything gets on top of you after a few weeks of go, go, go. I think last night hit me a little bit but I’m OK. I’m alive and well.”
