Millie Mackintosh has opened up about her struggle with anxiety.

The former Made In Chelsea star has revealed that meditation helps her stay calm when she is feeling overwhelmed.

Speaking to the UK Mail On Sunday’s You magazine, the Professor Green’s ex admitted, “In the past I’ve struggled a lot with anxiety.”

The reality star revealed that she needed something to help her cope and understand the way her mind worked.

“I think, like a lot of women, I’m very good at hanging on to the negative things and not the positive,” Millie said.

“Keep going, don’t regret anything and push on through even when things are difficult,” she added.

Millie featured on the cover of Women’s Health earlier this month, and revealed that yoga manages her anxiety.

“When my thoughts get a bit out of control and my mind is rushing, yoga just brings everything back down to earth,” she said

The reality star added, “It’s hard to stay calm, but you’ve got to remember that you’re not your mind. You are an observer of your mind.”

Millie also discussed how she has been feeling since her fashion business went bust this year.

“I’m doing the meditation for anxiety at the moment,” she said. “With the process I’ve just been through with my business, it’s made a real difference.”

Speaking about her engagement to fiancé Hugo Taylor, she said, “Hugo and I are delighted to be engaged, but there’s parts of our relationship that are just for us.”

“We’re not thinking about wedding plans yet because we’re not in a rush. There’s so much else going on.”
