Mike Thalassitis’ restaurant The Skillet has closed down after just four months in business.

The restaurant, which opened a month after the reality star’s tragic death, is located in his hometown of Loughton, Essex.

Business partner and friend Scott Neilson vowed to go ahead with the project after Mike sadly took his own life back in March.

At the time of opening the restaurant, Neilson said: “Mike would’ve wanted this cafe to open, he spent every day for the past couple of months working hard to make this place a success so we are pulling together to get this ready for everyone and especially for Mike.”

The profits from the first weekend were all donated to CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) in honour of Mike’s memory.

According to The Mirror, the restaurant has forcibly closed after just four months of trading.

The paper is reporting that there is a notice of re-entry on the door, stating that the locks on the doors have been changed.

While the restaurant’s website and Instagram account are still active, nothing has been posted or updated since the end of July.
